So Freddy and I packed up the car with the kids and drove... yes, drove... to Tow, Texas for Thanksgiving. Freddy's sister Amy lives there and we though it was our turn to go visit her! And boy, do they live in the country! It takes about 2 hours from a freeway to drive through back roads to get there! But we had an awesome time! Some of Freddy's other brothers and sisters went as well. There was so much space for the kids to play and the weather was beautiful! I also got to visit one of my closest friends Mindy and her daughter Paris. They met us in San Antonio for lunch. Both beautiful in every way! I got to taste my first deep fried turkey and it was deeelicious! If you've never tried it I highly recommend it! I was in charge of the mashed potatoes since my dad is notorious for them. Everything was awesome. Christmas Amy???

A Real Life, Bona-fide Country Thanksgiving... YEEEE-HAWWW!!
Dow dugga dow dugga dow dugga neow neow neow.....(my attempt at a banjo...)
Edward!!... AHHHHHHH!!... Edward!!!!
There's nothing more fun, or depressing, than something that makes you feel 16 again. This... is of course... "Twilight" for any girl with estrogen in her red, warm blooded body. A friend of mine had a "Pre- Twilight Movie" party the night the movie came out and it was a blast! There were about 45 - 50 women there, giddy and overwhelmingly excited to see this long awaited movie. There were bookmarks, "Fanpire" pins, candied apples of every kind, dry iced punch and quotes from the book pinned up all over the house! We also took a quiz and the 3 girls with the best scores, one including Amy Kay, got to play "Twilight Jeopardy!" (She won by the way. But if you have read the series 4 times in a row, you better fetching win something!) Seriously one of the funnest nights I've had in a long time! My opinion of the movie? Ehhh... it didn't reflect the books greatness, but was still fun to see played out...

My Happy Halloweenies, Tre and Brooklyn!
Happy Halloween everyone! This was a fun year because Tre finally figured this holiday out! I've been hiding this Buzz Lightyear costume from him since we got it and when I pulled it out to show him he freaked out! Buzz is his hero! He's seriously obsessed. Brooklyn was Tinkerbell, my Disney favorite. She didn't quite get it, but it was cute to dress her up. We went to Moe and Amy Kay's to eat then went out with about 30 kids around their neighborhood. Tre's cousin, Spencer, came as Buzz too. They loved looking the same. By the end of the night, we couldn't get Tre out of his costume. I got footage of Freddy flipping him in his costume while saying, "To infinity and Beyond..." at the bottom of the post. But I, of course, shot it sideways like an idiot, so just tilt your head to watch it. It's pretty funny!
