Freddy invited two of his long time friends, Blair and Kenny, and their families out to stay with us this past weekend to enjoy each others company. Luckily, I adore their wives, Shanna and Jill. We put our kids down and proceeded to play Rock Band for most of the night. Jill has a kick *** camera that I want! She has all of these cool lenses and gets these amazing shots with them. So we played around and had too much fun! The girls even played with some "album cover" ideas. (Ladies- you're hot!) But the guys were so much fun to watch cause they got so into it! Check them out!

Beach Day
After an all nighter of ROCKING, we had a beach day to unwind from the stress of rocking hard. The weather was perfect, our set up was right next to a fire pit and from what the guys told me...the surfing was great! We are very fortunate to live so close to the beach. We're going to take advantage of it more this summer! Tre is start to enjoy the water more. Freddy took him boogie boarding and he was loving it. Time for swim lessons, I guess. (To Blair, Shanna, Kenny and Jill- we had a great time with you! Thanks for the rad weekend!)

Disneyland On a Death Wish!
We went to Disneyland yesterday. We've been planning it for about a month now and had been looking forward to it. Tre loves all of his Disney flix so we thought he'd dig on the new Toy Story attraction and the Pixar parade and what not. Unfortunately...it turned out to be about 104 degrees outside - no joke! As you can see, Freddy pulled out the wife beater; rrrr! We worried about the kids and how they were doing the whole time. We basically did everything that was inside to escape the heat. It was fun, but we were literally drenched the first 15 minutes we were there. Tre had fun anyway. He saw Woody and was super star struck; we had to pry him away. He also stuck around for the Pixar parade. That was like Christmas for him. Brooklyn was such a trooper. She was just there for the ride. We bought an annual pass out of it, so if anyone wants to go, gives us a holla. Just wait until the heat wave is out of the way!
We had put Brooklyn's hair in a ponytail the whole day. When we took it out, she looked like Jack Jack from The Incredibles.

Summer Goal
So my goal this summer is to try and have MOST of the bottom half of my house decorated by the end of the summer. I just started painting our TV room. Wow...it's time consuming! But I think it will all look beautiful when it's done.
I went with a black and white theme for the downstairs bathroom. It was more of a way to make it less work for me to decorate but the joke was on me. These decals took forever to put on the walls! It turned out pretty cute!

Ba-Bye Jess!
My friend, Jessica, moved to New York this Wednesday! I'm soooo jealous!! I've always wanted to live there; even for a little short while to dance or something. But she knows I'm coming to visit! A lot! Jessica is actually the one who initially introduced me to Freddy. She's an amazing friend and I love her! Good luck J! Live it up!
