New York City 2009

I just got back from an amazing trip to New York with my sis-in-laws Amy and Reta and our friend Leanne. So much fun!! Aside from a little morning sickness (and being at the end of my first trimester... the crappiest state of pregnancy: starting to show, breakouts, weight gain,  fatigue) it couldn't have been a better trip! 5 days was a perfect amount of time to visit! In my next life, I will move there!

Amy's parents hooked us up with a room a the Hilton right on Times Square! We love you Pugmires!!

Hard Rock

Our shopping playground...

I passed by the most amazing dance studio I want to come back to next time. It's located at the bottom of the Empire State Building.

We saw "In the Heights" this years Tony Award winner and loved it! It was so different and had an amazing cast!

We were able to go to the temple. Such a neat experience!

I went to visit Jess. She moved there last year. Soooo jealous! She showed us the hot spots of shopping! (Jess is the one who got me a Freddy together!)

We went to an awesome spa! So nice after tons of walking!

Our day at Central Park. We actual were in NY during the hottest heat wave they'd had in a long time! So it wasn't a total "walk in the park..." Ok, bad joke...

We went on a train to visit Leanne's in-laws close to Carmel. We boarded it at Grand Central Station.

We could have spent all day, even all weekend, in Macy's! Huge!

After 9/11, people would put up photos of their loved ones lost during the disaster. Children at local schools created tiles to replace those who were not found.

Ground Zero. Not much to look at. I was disappointed there wasn't more of a museum or a place to get more information on what they were building.

Rockefeller  Center

An amazing little bakery called Magnolia Bakery. Yummy cupcakes and insane banana pudding!

Basically, my position at the end of each day! Can't wait to go again!!!!

Ahh! I love it! I am going with some girlfriends in June...the hottest time of year, but cheapest time to fly!! This post just made me so excited. I really wanted to go to Ground Zero, but maybe I won't now if you think there's not much to see yet. I am so excited. Looks like you had so much fun. It's such a good "girlfriend" trip place to go! I can't wait to see the temple there. It still amazes me that it's just downtown sitting there amongst the traffic.

I am so excited that you're having another boy!!!! Yeah!! Boys are so fun!!!
