Dancing with the Las Vegas Stars

What an amazing experience! Dancing with the LV Stars was a great success! From what I heard, the charity earned close to $75,000 dollars altogether! And I must say, Ray and I did very well! Everyone did an amazing job! Everything was so much fun to watch. I met some amazing people and would love to do something like this again!

Easters

We had Easter at the desert this year. The kids had fun. They got some cute things, did an egg hunt (thanks to sis-in-laws), blah, blah, blah... I was a little too morning sick to enjoy it and a bit too morning sick to write about it. You can figure out the pictures and what they're doin' on your own, right??

"Boom Boom"

So next weekend I'll be competing with Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini for Dancing with the Las Vegas Stars. (You can vote for us online. I think it's like a dollar...) It's a charity for cancer research held at The Palms in Vegas. Ray is a very well know boxer from the 80's and an absolute riot! He's everything you'd expect a boxer to be: incredible shape, Italian, and believe it or not, a great dancer!! We're doing a swing with a Grease theme... pretty perfect for him! He's incredibly animated and totally committed to the character. There's a reason this man's a champion! We are competing against some other names in Vegas, one who is a DJ out there. As soon as Ray heard about that, his first response was, "I don't lose to no DJ's..." Ha! Love him! He's been very patient with me, especially knowing of my pregnancy but overall has been such a pleasure to work with. I think he'll get his name "Boom Boom" now for more than his fighting!

My Super Heros

I went to Walmart and found the LAST Super Girl pair of pajamas in exactly Brooklyn's size! They are so her. She'll sing the Superman theme song with Tre and play action figures with him. I put them on her the other night and Tre was so excited! He kept hugging her and teaching her how to stand and how to fly. So sweet! It was hard to get them to pose, but I got something...

New Addition

Freddy's and his brothers recently got power scooters so drive to Trestles to surf. The kids love it. Especially Brooklyn! She cries when she doesn't get a chance to ride. It's super fun and super fast! It's probably dangerous that the kids have no safety wear on, but Freddy holds onto them pretty tight!
