What an amazing Christmas! My parents rented a cabin in the Arrowhead mountains this year so that we could experience a real, white Christmas. It was a blast! We had tons of food, made the ornaments for the tree, played games, checked Santa's status on the internet, made snow men and went sledding! The kids had a great Christmas Day. Tre's on a new Superman hype so we got him some action figures and we got the kids new tricycles to get them outside more. My sister and her family came too and had such a fun time together. Merry Christmas everyone and have a great New Year!!

Love, Love, Love This!
Sister Margaret Nadauld, former General Young Women’s President of the Church pled for the women of the Church to be women of God. She noted:
“Women of God can never be like women of the world. The world has enough women who are tough; we need women who are tender. There are enough women who are coarse; we need women who are kind. There are enough women who are rude; we need women who are refined. We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith. We have enough greed; we need more goodness. We have enough vanity; we need more virtue. We have enough popularity; we need more purity.” (“The Joy of Womanhood,” Ensign, Nov. 2000, 14-16.)

A Real Life, Bona-fide Country Thanksgiving... YEEEE-HAWWW!!
Dow dugga dow dugga dow dugga neow neow neow.....(my attempt at a banjo...)
So Freddy and I packed up the car with the kids and drove... yes, drove... to Tow, Texas for Thanksgiving. Freddy's sister Amy lives there and we though it was our turn to go visit her! And boy, do they live in the country! It takes about 2 hours from a freeway to drive through back roads to get there! But we had an awesome time! Some of Freddy's other brothers and sisters went as well. There was so much space for the kids to play and the weather was beautiful! I also got to visit one of my closest friends Mindy and her daughter Paris. They met us in San Antonio for lunch. Both beautiful in every way! I got to taste my first deep fried turkey and it was deeelicious! If you've never tried it I highly recommend it! I was in charge of the mashed potatoes since my dad is notorious for them. Everything was awesome. Christmas Amy???
