Wanna Take a Stroll Down Memory Lane?

Freddy and I were looking through old pictures and came across our wedding stuff and it was so fun! Our 5 year anniversary comes up next February. Wow! So much has happened in 5 years!! Man, it feels like an eternity!...ha,ha

Oh my gosh...Hi, Britney Spears!!! Hmm...which one is me? This was my bridal shower with my new sisters to be and my sister Monica to the left. Love them all!

The night before the wedding the girls gave me a "panty" party. Good times. The boys were doing a HALO bachlor party. My friend Rene came out whom Freddy had never met. We decided to play a little joke on them. She's the gorgeous blonde behind me. Well, before ipods came into play, I happened to have a CD player in my car for dance classes I taught. Rene, as sweet and pure as she is, also has a twisted, gutsy side to her which makes her a great friend of mine. We decided to have her show up to their party with the CD player and a pair of undies I had just gotten at the party in her hand saying, "So where do I change???" We knew the boys would think something was up; after all, the Kuhn/Barth family is known for our joking around and humor. So we told Rene to tell the guys that Freddy's friend Ben sent her. This is something his friend Ben would have totally done. The guys completely bought it! They all said they were sweating up a storm since we were set for the temple the next day...

We were all outside waiting to see what they were gonna do. They were surprisingly cool considering the whole situation. I guess my brother-in-law Spencer had even said, "Guess I better get the camera..." Poor Rene ran into the bathroom waiting for us to break the tension. We finally blew our cover.Too funny!!!

Needless to say, they were quite happy to see it was our idea. I'm so glad everyone has such a great sense of humor about the whole thing!

Difference in family size? Freddy is eight out of nine kids in his family.

Me? I have one sister...but we love our little family.

Our take on "BLUE STEEL!"

Freddy being Freddy...

The perfect fit!!!

Then the kids start coming...
This is me pregnant with Tre 2 weeks before delivering.

One of my favorite pictures with Tre. This was about 2 hours after he was born...

This is me pregnant with Brooklyn the day before delivery. Can you say ouch??

This is Brooklyn 3 days after. Don't let her peaceful face fool you. She was as stubborn in the delivery as she was in the womb. Girlfriend didn't want to come out. She was very cozy in there. I pushed with her facing sunny side up. I won't even tell you what it did to me physically but I can easily say it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. She came out 8lbs. Tre was only 7lbs. (I say that like he was easy.Ha!) But it's all worth it. I love my family!

Indo Pictures

Freddy finally got me some pictures from his Indo trip this September. Their next trip there is the last week of May,2008. I'm glad he get's away when he can. He works so hard and never really gets much play. He got to go with three of his brothers this year; Spencer, Moe, and Mat. Despite the long travel, they had a great time. Freddy assures me the surfing there is the best in the world! Someday he's gonna get me some footage of him surfing (meaning sometime next year!)
Their friend Larry, Freddy and Mat

Ummm...hot??!!

Happy Turkey Day!

Happy Thanksgiving! This was the first year in two years I wasn't pregnant on Thanksgiving so I finally got to pig out on turkey and stuffing. We went to Freddy's oldest brother's house, Spencer, and his wife Reta made the best Thanksgiving feast! (I supplied the delicious Costco pies, thank you very much!) Grandma and Grandpa Kuhn were there along with Reta's mom and brother.

Family Cruise

We just got back from our family cruise. My mom and dad took me, Freddy, Monica and Rick and all of our kids on a cruise to Ensenada with a quick stop to Catalina. It was a lot of fun. Tre and Brooklyn made it a bit tough to relax, but we were expecting that. Tre got to dance with the band on deck and go to town on the ice cream and Brooklyn modeled her chic swimwear. Papa fed the birds with the boys and the adults got to dress up a few nights for a nice dinner. All around it was a nice vacation for everyone!

No, I'm not pregnant in this picture. We'll thank the unlimited pizza and ice cream for that illusion.

Tag...I'm It!

I finally got tagged by my friend Tracy. So here it goes and here's how it's done:

1)Include these game rules at the beginning of your blog post

2)Each player lists six facts/habits about themselves

3)At the end of the post, tag four more people by posting their names, and leaving a comment on their blogs that they have been tagged and to look at your blog for the rules.

#1) I'm uncomfortable with people though I act and maybe pass off like a social person. If I go to a party or I'm in a situation where I have to start a conversation or carry on one, I freak out. I think I give a snobby first impression because of it. I use humor to cover my anxiety and usually use that to test people to see if I'd get along with them. Unfortunately if you don't get me or my humor, I'll probably never really open up to you comfortably.

#2)I'm totally vain and a total perfectionist when it comes to my hair or make-up. If I don't like what I'm wearing or how I look that day it usually effects the way I feel. I'm all girl. I think my husband appreciates me for that. But here's the weird part... I love fashion, but if it's not comfortable, I won't wear it, so I basically live in my flip flops. (I have diamond studded Rainbows for those special occasions.) I know I'm no Jessica Biel, but I can get away with "cute" on a good day! I'm content with that. There's no sin in making an effort.

#3) I hate being in charge, I'm totally passive which is why my marriage to Freddy is perfect. I like being a team player. If you give me a task, I'll complete is with flying colors. I'm afraid of failure so I'd rather have someone else in charge to make tough decisions. Not one of the proudest things about me but I'm am happier and stress free when everyone else is happy. However, when I'm disciplining my child or choreographing a piece in my classroom, that is something I like having control of.

#4)I love to perform whether it's singing, dancing, stand-up, whatever. I'll do anything in front of thousands as long as the lights are out and I can't see faces. But if the lights are up and I see individual people or, like I said, one on one, I'm taken off guard.

#5) I'm not really book smart. I wish I were. My ADD kicks in when I try to sit down and study something. I have friends who are amazingly smart with mathematics, politics, gospel doctrine, etc. I am all right brained. Ask me anything about any genre of music, what actor was in which movie, how to teach a dance class or choreograph something, I'm your girl. (And I'm a total war buff which is weird!)

#6) I'm a good wife and mother. My family is everything to me!

Alright, I tag Alison, Monica, Keaton and Amy. Have fun!

Bobblehead Fred!

Freddy's birthday present just came in. Nothing says "I love you" like a custom made bobblehead. What do you think? Does it look like him??
