32

I had a great 32nd birthday! Freddy, of course, spoiled me rotten and we had an overall amazing day! We had a babysitter for most of the day which helped make it a good day! The main plan was to go to Disneyland and renew our passes since I was able to use my free birthday admission ticket toward it. However, there's been a major heat wave this weekend and I knew I wouldn't be able to stand the heat there for very long with my belly. So we decided to go later in the evening and wore the smallest, sheerest sun dress, without offending people with my pregnant-ness. I should have just worn my maternity bathing suit and blew off any nasty looks because I was still dying!

My kids made it so easy to leave and go out for the day. They kept singing Happy Birthday to me all day!

Freddy got me a beautiful, petite diamond necklace. I love it! So me!

To make time pass during the hottest part of the day, we went to my Utopia... the mall. My man knows me!
We had lunch at The Cheesecake Factory. Red Velvet cake cheesecake. Yes please.

We survived Disneyland's heat, and there wasn't much we could do in my state. We hadn't tried Small World since it opened so this was the perfect time to try it out. Haunted Mansion and window shopping... that was the bulk of our evening. My hands and feet were swelling so bad, but didn't stop our good time. Overall, the best part was really just having one on one time with my man. He made it special! Thanks Freddy!

My Blog Book

Freddy got me an early birthday present! He converted our family blog into a book! This makes me so happy because I don't scrapbook and I haven't really kept a journal in years, and I consider this to be both! I can't believe how big it is and Freddy didn't even put all of the posts in one book 'cause there are so many! So I'll be able to make more of them! It has everyone's comments from each post so it will always be fun to look back on. Smart gift, my love! You done good!

Tre's Grace...

If you know Tre, you'll know how he's prone to black eyes, chipped teeth, and bruised body. This time it's a fat lip. I guess he was running too fast in the family room and fell onto the fireplace face first. At this point we just have to roll our eyes and wonder what will happen tomorrow...

Birch Aquarium

We took the kids to the Birch Aquarium in San Diego yesterday. I also just got a great new camera (Canon Power Shot SX10-IS) that I know nothing about, so I got to play around with it. The kids loved it. Lots of sea life up close in an air conditioned area. Pretty colors and unusual things to look at. It was a nice day to get out. I took a picture with my fellow whales at the end...

My Girl Lynz...

My friend Lindsay and I met in college. Our boyfriends at the time were bestfriends and we just clicked. (Trevor and Kyle, we will be eternally grateful!) Anyway, she and her husband Brandon bring their kids out every year to hang at the beach. We were lucky enough have them for a few days! Lynz, you let me know when Brandon's ready to move the fam out here!

Summer Fun!

We've been having a great summer so far! I'm actually really glad I got over my morning sickness before it started so that we have been able to do a lot! We always have beach night Monday nights with cousins. The kids are getting much braver each trip we go!

Brooklyn boogie boarding!

The preggo's of the group. Reta's due in about 2 weeks. Also having a boy!

Lovely Kati with Tori...

Tre's first surfing experience! He did so good!

Giving his approval...

With cousin's Zoey and Roxy...

My kids are now at the age that I can appreciate Chuck E. Cheese's. They had a blast today!

We got about 300 tickets! Not bad for toddlers. (I helped a bit...)

Fake teeth and binoculars for Tre's prize...

A fairy wand for Brooklyn. Toy's I could have bought at the dollar store for $3. But there would be no sense of accomplishment. They had a great time!
