Dr. Tiddle Biddle

So it's super nice to have friends in high places! Andy Tibbitts, though my memory claims him to be Andy "Tiddle Biddle" from back in the day, is an old friend of mine. In fact, the whole Tibbitts clan are my dear friends, so I'm sure they'll all appreciate this post. I've been waiting forever to get my teeth fixed! I know... they weren't that terrible to begin with, but they did need a little help. So Andy put me on Invisalign and put a few venires(sp?) on my four front teeth to give me a gleaming smile! I brought my camera the other day to take a picture with him since he knows I like to blog. We took it to another level. Here's a few action shots. His staff is a riot! They kept taking different shots around the office. They must laugh all day at work! Anyway, you'll see the end result at the bottom. Well done, good sir. Thanks for the rad smile! (Sorry about posting the 'Blue Steel' picture, Andy. It was too hilarious for me to not post!)

Disneyland... Rain or Shine!

Last Friday we went to Disneyland with Freddy's oldest brother Spencer and his family. It was scheduled to rain all day so we went prepared. Nothing says HOT like a rain poncho! Stylin'! We also got a cover for the stroller, which saved the day! (Thank you Reta!!) We thought we would luck out since the first half of the day was beautiful, but just about noon it started to pour! Back in high school, a day of Disneyland in the rain was a blast, but the kids kinda killed that fun! But we made it work! We still had a great time...

6 Years and Going Stong

Having an anniversary a week before Valentines is like a birthday close to Christmas. We naturally just celebrate the two together so that wasn't very smart on my part to set the wedding date close to the day of lovin'! But it's OK. As cheesy as it sounds, we have Valentines everyday! Freddy buys me flowers randomly and reminds me too often how much he loves me. Everyone should have a Freddy. To celebrate, we didn't do much. I made some massive crab legs for a romantic dinner while the kids slept. Fancy shmancy! Like the Martinelli's in the fancy glasses?? I was good enough for us! We don't need much more! Happy anniversary, love! You...complete...me. (Heart shape drawn with fingers...)

This is What Happens When There's Only One of You

While I was trying to make Tre vomit in the toilet (he'd been sick most of the day) Brooklyn decided to dig through my make-up drawer.  What do you do when there is only one of you and you know the other is up to no good! And we only have two! One of those days, y'all...

Childhood Friends #1 - The Han Bros.

Okay... Freddy and I are officially fans of Facebook! Freddy, even while we were dating, would always tell me about he and his childhood best bud 'Eddie.' He'd tell me tales of sleep overs and G.I. Joe wars of all kind and he always wondered what Eddie was doing. A few weeks ago, Eddie's brother Eric found Freddy's brother Dave, who were friends as well, on Facebook. Low and behold we set up a reunion. We planned a BBQ at our house and invited the the Han's and their beautiful wives over. We weren't sure what to expect seeing as how Freddy moved away from them when he was like 8 years old. But we had a blast with them! Everything just seemed to fall right back into place. Their wives were adorable and the food was too much! We all rocked out together and filled each other in with our life stories. As Eric worded it, it was very "surreal". Thanks Han's! We look forward to seeing the opening of "G.I. Joe" with you! Very appropriate!

Childhood Friends #2 - Robin

Such a coincidence... After we had the Han brothers over this weekend, my best friend from my childhood years called and said she was coming into town and wanted to get together. So we met up at Sea World on the most perfect, sunny, non-crowded day of the year and had an amazing day together with our kids! Tre and Brooklyn loved Shamu and all of the tricks the killer whales did. We also got to touch some sting rays, which loved to be "petted", and we got to pick up some star fish. Tre kept calling them 'Patrick' from Spongebob. Just overall an exciting day. Robin stayed with us for two days and we didn't even get to catch up as much as we wanted to! Robin had moved to Utah when we were both about 13 and had been best friends and completely inseparable up to that point, so life was never really the same when she left. We became a bit more distant through time with school and marriage and what not that we really didn't have the chance to reconnect until now! You can really tell who your eternal friends are when everything falls back into place and nothing has changed. We were the craziest girls and most of my favorite childhood memories were with her! By the bottom pictures... you can tell nothing has changed! I love you Robin! Your boys are beautiful and I'm so blessed to have you as my friend!
