Christmas in Arrowhead

What an amazing Christmas! My parents rented a cabin in the Arrowhead mountains this year so that we could experience a real, white Christmas. It was a blast! We had tons of food, made the ornaments for the tree, played games, checked Santa's status on the internet, made snow men and went sledding! The kids had a great Christmas Day.  Tre's on a new Superman hype so we got him some action figures and we got the kids new tricycles to get them outside more. My sister and her family came too and had such a fun time together. Merry Christmas everyone and have a great New Year!!

Love, Love, Love This!

Sister Margaret Nadauld, former General Young Women’s President of the Church pled for the women of the Church to be women of God. She noted:

“Women of God can never be like women of the world. The world has enough women who are tough; we need women who are tender. There are enough women who are coarse; we need women who are kind. There are enough women who are rude; we need women who are refined. We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith. We have enough greed; we need more goodness. We have enough vanity; we need more virtue. We have enough popularity; we need more purity.” (“The Joy of Womanhood,” Ensign, Nov. 2000, 14-16.)

It's a bird... It's a plane...

I found some old 1930's Superman cartoons at Walmart the other day and thought they'd be fun for Tre. Yesterday he ran out of the TV room with his blanket rapped around his neck singing his own theme music while flying around! This has helped a little for Christmas ideas...

Back off! He's ours!!

Meet Jarom, our lifesaver! If his parents would let us, we'd make him our live-in nanny! Tre and Brooklyn love him and get so excited when he shows up to babysit! Thanks for your radness, Jarom!

Dancer, Prancer... both Vixen!!

My mom and I have been dancing for a few Christmas parties. We do a tap a number to "Man with the Bag", my mom has a rumba she does to "Bells will be Ringin'" and I did a Jive with 'Santa' to  a swing version of "Jingle Bells." Kinda nerdy... I know. But it's Christmas.
Here are a couple of other  Christmas preparation  pictures with the kids. It should be a fun season this year.
